Isn’t that what you want to say to anyone who’s not ready to understand you and your standpoint? I am sure yes! But then, just think, what if the person also wants to say the same thing to you.
Confusing?
Well, I was just trying to say that its all about understanding the other person’s perspective, stepping in his/her shoes. Perhaps that will give you an insight of why certain people do what they do .. maybe it is the situation they are in which pushes them to do what could feel or look absolutely irrational / frustrating to others .. maybe they just cant figure out how to explain what is in their mind .. maybe they can but are not sure if others would even understand .. maybe it is to make things/ emotions and life in general less complicated to deal with .. maybe they do it only because they have the best interest and well-being of their loved ones in mind. So you see, people have their own valid reasons for their actions .. and by trying to put yourself in their shoes, you will be able to decipher complex mysteries about their thoughts in a tick.
I know I let out a lot of ‘gyaan’ but then that’s how I am .. love me or leave me
Jokes apart, in the recent past, some incidents and experiences have reinforced my belief in the following quote..- "Always put yourself in other’s shoes. If you feel, it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person too…" Try it for yourself. I know its tough to even think about trying to understand the other person’s perspective when you’re yourself mad at that person but give it a conscious try.. and you’ll not be disappointed, I promise!
